Move to use .NET Framework 4.7.2 for Coresuite onPremise Products

Introduction

In January 2020 we made the announcement below. We are now pleased to let you know that now all our Coresuite onPremise Products are all built for .NET Framework 4.7.2. and are available in our standard Download areas (including automatic Downloads).

Initial announcement, January 2020

As of January 2020, the officially released Coresuite onPremise Products are all built for .NET Framework 4.0.

We are now moving to build our Products for .NET Framework 4.7.2. This allows us to make them more secure and compliant with latest software standards.

In order to guarantee a smooth transition, for the next few releases, we will provide you with both builds. In our standard Download areas (including automatic Downloads), you will continue to find the build for .NET Framework 4.0. In this very FAQ, you will find the build for .NET Framework 4.7.2.

Due to increased security requirements, the build for .NET Framework 4.0 in our standard Download areas (including automatic Downloads) will be replaced with the build for .NET Framework 4.7.2 with our 7.10 Release (20/04/20-24/04/20).

Prerequisites

In order to use the build for .NET Framework 4.7.2, it is required to install .NET Framework 4.7.2 on all respective Client machines. Other than that, there is no special process to follow.
