SAP FSM Windows - Dropping support for Windows OS 7 (Vista) & Windows 8

In May 2020, SAP plans two releases of the FSM Windows Application: Release 8.7.0 and Release 10.0.0. 

Starting from Windows FSM 10.0.0 and moving forward, SAP FSM will no longer support Windows 7 (vista) or Windows 8 operating systems.

This change will allow SAP to leverage the new Edge webview component from Mircosoft to bring features such as HTML based reports and web containers to the FSM Windows Application.

SAP does not anticipate any impact to our customers from this change since the vast majority of users are currently running Windows OS 10. Customers working with an older Windows OS can update to FSM 8.7.0 and remain on this version.
